Job Summary

     We are looking for a decisive and insightful DevOps engineer to be involved in various stages of each product’s lifespan and should remain abreast of technological advancements to promote efficiency. A DevOps engineer’s end goal is to shorten the software development cycle, increase the frequency of updates, and allow for releases that are more dependable.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will specialize in developing tools for a continuous deployment of a cloud based HCM service platform.

Core Duties

• Development and design of systems, with a focus on automation and maintainability at large scale
• Collaborating with coworkers to conceptualize, develop, and release software.
• Rolling out fixes and upgrades to software, as needed.
• Securing software to prevent security breaches and other vulnerabilities.
• Suggesting alterations to workflow in order to improve efficiency and success.
• Pitching ideas for projects based on gaps in the market and technological advancements.
• Tech stack: Ubuntu, Docker, Kubernetes, , Jenkins, Errorception, Datadog,      
• Experience Dockerizing existing web applications
• Setting up alerts and monitoring for system infrastructure
• Monitoring system and application health

Qualification

Degree in computer science, software engineering, or an adjacent field.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Prior experience at all phases of the software product life cycle, from conception to extinction.
• Great understanding on DevOps CI/CD Pipeline process
• Hands-on experience in Git / GitHub
• Shell script – Linux Shell, Perl, & Python
• Experience using an array of automation tools.
• Familiarity with software security methods.
• Curious, discerning envelope pusher.
• Top-notch decision-making and collaborative abilities.
