Job Summary

      The head of IT Infrastructure is responsible for the implementation and operations of all technology infrastructures, which includes data center, network and server services, telephony, service monitoring, user support/help desk, workstation management, servers, storage and related software. This position is operationally responsible for ensuring the availability, integrity, and security for all IT systems and infrastructure.

Core Duties:

  • Oversee all technology operations  and evaluate them according to established goals
  • Design and execute short plus long term strategic plans to assure infrastructure capacity attains current and future needs.
  • Develop, execute and oversee procedures, policies and related training plans for project management and infrastructure administration.
  • Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by top management
  • Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs
  • Conduct research and recommend changes in services, products, protocols and standards to support development efforts and infrastructure procurement
  • Purchase efficient and cost effective technological equipment and software
  • Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency
  • Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management
  • Coordinate IT managers and supervise technicians and other professionals to provide guidance
  • Control budget and report on expenditure
  • Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts
  • Development of enterprise standards, technology architecture, and the IT operations governance process.
  • Conduct product and vendor evaluations ensuring best in class technologies and partners
  • Works closely with and manage strategic vendor partner relationships. Setup and run the Governance with the partners. Build strategic relationships for creating value for the organization.
  • Participate in the formulation of the company’s enterprise architecture and business system plans; assessing cost and feasibility, and ensuring the plan is aligned with and supports the strategic goals of the business.
  • Ensure to practice IT asset management inclusive of component inventory maintenance and associated documentation
  • Perform feasibility studies for different upgrade projects, conversions and improvements
  • Strong management and people development skills. Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
  • Understand and implementation of ITIL practices
  • Define and manage IT Disaster Recovery Strategy for the organization

  • Microsoft Technologies (Hyper V / Exchange server / MS Teams / SQL Server / WSUS / IIS / Terminal servers / TFS / Microsoft PowerShell
  • Cloud Solution (Azure /AWS / google)
  • DR /  BCP
  • Firewall / DMZ / VLAN / VPN / DNS / DHCP / Email Security / Antivirus / VAPT
  • ITIL / ISO 27001 / SSAE 18 Type II
  • VAPT for infrastructure / Web applications.

Education

          Master’s degree in Information Technology with work experience of at least 15+ years in the IT industry is required

  • Excellent Team handling experience.
  • Strong presence of mind and problem solving abilities
